P2P is an interactive, hands-on career expo for 8th graders in public, private and home schools, as well as at-risk youth. Students experience a variety of career pathways during the two-day event. Launched in 2013, the event has impacted 25,000 eight graders in the Mississippi Gulf Coast region. While not a GSSC initiative, GSSC and member companies support the event through sponsorship and volunteerism.

About the Event
Hosted in November each year, organizers launched Pathways2Possibilities (P2P) after seeing firsthand the Worlds of Opportunity Career Expo in Mobile, AL. P2P is a powerful example of how public, private, and non-profit sectors can work together "in the name of education, workforce development, and economic development." Working with participating schools, Since it's launch in 2013, the event has been replicated in the northeast and northwest regions of the state.
