Mark Scott, Ingalls Shipbuilding

After an 18-month international assignment in Adelaide, South Australia, Mark E. Scott has
returned to Ingalls Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, as Business
Operations Manager for Talent Management.  In this capacity Mr. Scott acts as the single point of contact for the public sector workforce system including Workforce Innovations and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Community Colleges and Universities. This responsibility includes involvement in regional economic development and workforce development initiatives.
Mark E. Scott has professional associations’ including:

  • Member, Finance Chair and former Vice President of the Central Gulf Industrial Alliance

  • Member and board member for Gulf States Shipbuilding Consortium

  • Member, former board member and recipient of the Bob Craig President’s Award

  • (2014-2015) for the Southeastern Employment & Training Association

  • Member and Co-Chair of the Twin District Workforce Area, Industry Advisory Council

  • Board member and Finance Chair for Singing River Services, Region XIV


Mark holds a bachelor’s degree from Delta State University and a M.B.A. from Columbia
