ABOUT THE MEETING

Room Rate of

$129 for Reservations Extended to October 9!

With the unemployment rate in the US nearing a 50-year low and the number of job openings exceeding the number of job seekers for 17 straight months, employer approaches to workforce development must include new and innovative ways to attract new talent, to retain and engage with the newest generation to enter the workforce, to take advantage of untapped populations, and to manage productivity in a technology-driven workplace while mitigating cybersecurity threats.  Governmental agencies, too, play a role in meeting labor market demands.

GSSC's Fall Meeting centers around trends in workforce development while featuring state and local workforce initiatives designed to meet the needs of employers.  Featured topics include

  • Technology and Talent Acquisition

  • Attracting, Retaining, and Leading Gen Z

  • Trends in Cybersecurity

  • Addressing the Skills Gap through Partnerships and Apprenticeships

  • State and Local Approaches to Workforce Development

Sponsorship and Exhibitor opportunities are available!

As always, there will be plenty of networking opportunities and an Exhibitor Expo to round out the two-day event.
