Bobby Lamb, Ingalls Shipbuilding

Bobby Lamb is the manager of Ingalls Apprentice School and Future Workforce Programs at Ingalls
Shipbuilding located in Pascagoula, MS. In this role, Bobby is responsible for setting the vision and
strategic direction of the apprentice school and future workforce programs. Bobby leads multiple staff and instructors responsible for the hiring and training of nearly 600 apprentices. In addition to the apprentice school, Bobby oversees Ingalls Shipbuilder Academy, a one-year high school maritime trades exploration program offered to multiple high schools in the region. Shipbuilder Academy has enrolled over 200 students since its inception in 2016, with many students beginning their careers with Ingalls after graduation.

Bobby began his career with Ingalls Shipbuilding in 2011 and has held training positions across multiple business units within the company. Prior to coming to Ingalls, Bobby served in the United States Navy for 21 years retiring in 2010. He was awarded numerous personal awards and commendations for his performance during multiple deployments around the world. Bobby has earned Master’s degrees in Human Capital Development from the University of Southern Mississippi and in Management Studies from Troy University.
