ABOUT US GSSC held its charter meeting in December 2006 with eight members. Since its charter meeting, the consoritum has grown to 45 members and includes shipyards, suppliers, educational institutions, and economic development agencies along the Gulf Coast.

JOIN GSSC NOW	In 2006, GGSC was incorporated in the state of Alabama os a 501(c)(6) Not for Profit corporation.  Under the current tax code, GSSC is required to file annual informational returns to the United States Internal Revenue Service.  Under Regulations sections 301.6104(d)-1 through -3, a tax-exempt organization must: • Make its application for recognition of exemption and its annual information returns available for public inspection without charge at its principal, regional and district offices during regular business hours. • Make each annual information return available for a period of 3 years beginning on the date the return is required to be filed (determined with regard to any extension of time for filing) or is actually filed, whichever is later.
